While the Borough ultimately has the final say, I`ve shared a letter with Stroudsburg Borough Council recommending they consider transferring their authority to the courts to fill their mayoral vacancy. This step would play an important role in restoring public trust.

On Monday, Brooks from my staff and I were able to lend a hand at The Wright Center for Community Health`s first Soup Day at their Scranton location! 🍲 It was a great day to hand out soup to the local community and offer support for those who need it through the simplicity of a hot meal. 🤗
Special thank you to Gerri and the whole Wright Center team for organizing such a fulfilling event! ❤

Local decisions matter and I strongly support municipal autonomy.
But when gaps in state law lead to confusion or weaken public trust, it’s my responsibility to act.

When I was sworn in as your Senator in 2023, I made one very important promise: to work hard! 💪
In my first two years, we delivered more than $65 million in state grants, enacted 7 bills into law, and served thousands of constituents through direct services and outreach. 📈
In 2025, we built even more on this record. Here is what we accomplished:
1️⃣I secured over $30 million in state grants for the 40th District.
2️⃣My offices filed over 500 property tax rebates for constituents.
3️⃣We helped more than 100 Veterans obtain benefits through the American Legion.
4️⃣I authored 35 legislative proposals on issues that matter most to our communities.
5️⃣I served on the Governor’s Commission on Women and the Gino Merli Veterans Home Advisory Council.
6️⃣As a member of the Appropriations Committee, I reviewed the state budget line-by-line to advocate for responsible and effective spending.
7️⃣In the district, I hosted events that reached tens of thousands of residents, providing education, and connecting residents with resources.
I also make it a priority to regularly attend community events—from business openings to Eagle Scout ceremonies and 100th birthdays—ensuring I stay connected and accessible to you. 👐
In 2026, I will use these accomplishments to build on delivering even more for the 40th Senatorial District. As always, thank you for your trust in me to work hard for you. I will continue to focus on common sense policy and results while creating an environment that fosters patriotism, deeper education, good government, kindness, and respect. 🇺🇸
It is going to be a great 2026! ❤
Happy to join my Pennsylvania Senate colleagues from both sides of the aisle earlier this week as we had our opening day of the 2025-26 legislative session. 🇺🇸
So honored to continue serving you all in the 40th Senate District! ❤

As we kicked off the 2025-26 session in the Pennsylvania Senate, I was proud to rise and second the nomination of @senatorkimlward once more as President Pro Tempore! ❤️🇺🇸
